Hello Conway Families,

We have now completed a little over a month of school.  Although there have been many challenges, there have been many successes as well.  Most students have settled into a routine and we are all working hard to establish productive practices and an effective regimen.  . Our staff is committed to work through all challenges to ensure that the needs of our students are met.  As you are undoubtedly aware, our biggest challenges have involved keeping all students and staff healthy.  We had three more students test positive on Friday.  We currently have around 35 students in quarantine.  For the year, we have now had almost 300 students in quarantine at some point.

As the first grading period is nearing an end, we will release a video this week addressing our efforts to support students in quarantine and some new things that we will be doing to support these students.  On the first report card, it is likely that many students will receive an I (Incomplete) as we ensure that students are given every opportunity to demonstrate mastery and not be penalized  as a result of quarantine situations.

On Tuesday, we will have a virtual Open House which will consist of various video segments that will allow parents and families to learn about Conway, see who our teachers are and learn about key programs and systems.  I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this challenging time.  We will continue to prioritize safety as we try to provide as many "normal" educational experiences as possible.

We appreciate your support.
