Process:

I used an iPhone XR to create my photo of winter art. I created it when we recently got a lot of snow and the temperature stayed below freezing for many days. I chose to do this project because I wanted to see what a big frozen ball of colored water would look like. First, I filled balloons with water, then squeezed a bit of food coloring in and shook the balloons. I tied the balloons and set them outside. I took about 2 days to freeze the whole thing. Then I broke the balloon and peeled off the balloon from the frozen water. Some of the things I learned doing it is the snow actually helped to insulate the balloons and keep them from freezing, that's why it took so long to freeze, I also learned that frozen colored water almost looks like glass, it was very pretty!
